Weekend Part 1/3

Sorry i have not been blogging.

Too Busy and Fed-up with work. I dunno how long can i tolerate my job....

However, the weekend was packed as well... (in a good sense)

Friday Night (31st Aug07)

I am a HUGE Steamboat Fan... Serious!

After trying many steamboats around Singapore, 2 places that have kept me returning are:

1) Parkway Steamboat (At the Foodcout of Parkway Parade and at the Food court of Roxy Shopping Center/Mercure Hotel)

- Half Chicken stock and Half Tom Yam
- A la Carte

2) Xian(1) De (2) Lai(2) Shanghainese steamnboat (Liang Seah St.)

- I usually go for the half spicy chicken broth and half Chicken/Pork stock.
- Buffet style

So Firday night Buffet @ Xian(1) De(2) Lai(2) with my colleagues:

! TATTOO TIME !

Have i told you guys that i have wanted a tattoo for myslf for the longest time.



Jolene, Luisa, Grace and myself heades for the Tattoo palour after dinner. It was not a sudden decision, but something that was carefully planned for a long time.


We headed to Far East PLaza.


All of us were having Cold feet.


However, Luisa and Jolene braced themselves and the result is:

Well... Obviously Jolene did not take it too well. She was either screaming in pain or laughing in ticklishness throughout... The Tattoo Artist David thinks there is something wrong with her nervous system...

But Well Done Jolene, for enduring it through!

People, this is such an Anti-Climax.... Its FAKE!

I just want to tell all of you that i am that close to getting a Tattoo... I was going to tell the Tatoo artist David to proceed with the stencil for me... Till someone Hung up my phone and refused to speak to me...

I was and still am so torn between getting a Tattoo and Hurting my Love One.

To Celebrate for the 2 Gals for getting a Tattoo, we headed for Ice Cold Beer...

This women is going to be Tai Tai after her wedding, following her husband to Penang for 2 years.

But people, before you guys start Ooohhhing an Owing, God is fair... Her husband fails on the "Handsome Meter"... MUAHAHAHA! (Sorry Jas...)

Yenni to Jas: Gal, I am so going to MISS you. But promise to keep close contact okay. Plus we stil have our shoes business going on. (Remember the fun times we had in BKK, staying in a sleezy hotel, going through Yarawat like headless chickens, Lugging our overweight luggages, Crazy chase on the Tut Tut, Relaxing message at the various palours..) Sob Sob...

Don't worry abt gg to Malaysia and stuff... Kenneth will take fantastic care of you and it is naturally your duty to go keep your husband company where ever he is posted to, wheather its Aussie, Penang, Thailand, or even across the Arctic Etc... I wish the both of you a Wonderful life ahead.

Pss... If you go to Paris for your Honeymoon, can help me buy LV? Anyway, tell Tiara to get ready my LV coin purse. Hee....

The only DICK i see went out at 9.50pm for a chat/drink session with his friends and has just Whizzed back through the door!

Didn't i tell you that i will be crawing out of my Shan(3) Dong(4) into the world of MERRY MAKING?

Have not seen Jamie since last Oct06! (I am such a BAD friend... Well so is she!)

The Service was good, except for the Queue Attendent who is such an

ASS H*L*.

The Queue was SUPER LONG. Food, is Okay.

I like that they give they patrons FREE Candy Floss. It was Apple Flovoured. 1st time i ever tried such a Flavour.

(I am Cheap-skate! I LOVE free things.... Hmm... There are some elements of AUNTY in me! OH NO!)

After Dinner Chill!

Wanted to go to the Clinic but the the indoor section was closed for renovation.

So we Ended up at:

IndoChine outlets never fails me.....

Had my Hen's Night @ Forbidden City - Indo Chin
Used to patronize Sanctuary - Indo Chine
Now i so like Bar Opiume- Indo Chine

This is such a nice place to chill out!

The music was good both indoors and outdoors!

The Ambience was good!

And 2 cups of Bloody Mary i had was okay, maybe a tad bit diluted.

The only thing to lament about is the $steep prices$ of their drinks...
